Synthetic Dreadlock Extensions.
Synthetic dread extensions are 100% Kanekalon fibre which has been backcombed, twisted, steam sealed, and boiled to give amazingly soft durable dreads. Available as single ended dread extensions or double ended dread extensions.

Double Ended Dread Extensions.
A long dread that is folded in the middle, sometimes the fold is not dreaded to allow ease of installation, although they can be completely dreaded.
Double ended dread extensions (DE) are temporary dreadlocks that are braided into your hair as extensions. One side of the dread is braided into your real hair and the other hangs loose. Double ended dreads give the appearance of two dreads without the added weight.
Single Ended Dread Extensions.
A dread which has a small loop at the top.
Single ended dread extensions (SE) are temporary dreadlocks that are braided into your hair extensions. Your own hair is pulled through the loop, with a latch hook, and then braided around the dread.

Standard dreads have a diameter of 1cm and slim dreads have a diameter of 0.5cm aprox. Other diameter's can be made if you require.
A full head of synthetic dread extensions takes between 2-3 hours to install.
I recommend 50-60 DE dreads (giving 100-120 when installed) or 90-100 SE dreads for coverage of a full head of average thickness hair. Synthetic dreadlock extensions are temporary and can be worn for up to 12 weeks if well installed. It is recommended that synthetic dread extensions are removed after 12 weeks in order prevent your own hair matting and causing natural dreading.

dreads at home. If you cant manage alone ask a friend to help.
